Who may legally inject Botox in North Carolina
In North Carolina the injection can be given by a registered nurse or a licensed practical nurse, but not on their own initiative. It has to be ordered by someone with prescriptive authority: a physician, a nurse practitioner, or a physician assistant. The North Carolina Board of Nursing sets this out in its position statement on cosmetic and aesthetic dermatological procedures.

What the North Carolina price bands actually show
The two North Carolina cities verified here behave in opposite ways. Charlotte runs $9 to $15 per unit, a spread of $6. Raleigh runs $13 to $14, a spread of $1.
Raleigh has the narrowest verified band of any of the eighteen cities on this site. Its five clinics effectively agree on the price. Charlotte has one of the widest, and the whole of Raleigh sits inside the upper part of the Charlotte range.
What that means when you book. In Charlotte, which clinic you choose changes the bill on a 20 unit glabella treatment from $180 to $300, so the choice is worth up to $120. In Raleigh the same choice moves it from $260 to $280. Shopping around is worth real money in one city and almost nothing in the other.
