Letybo is the most recent of the six approved neurotoxins to reach the United States, and the hardest of them to find, for a reason that has nothing to do with the product.
1. Why it is harder to find
Hugel markets Letybo in the US primarily to providers rather than to patients. Its American site leads with distribution and partnership language rather than a patient-facing find-a-clinic experience, which is the opposite of how Allergan, Galderma and Evolus approach the market.
The practical effect is that the usual route of starting at a manufacturer locator works less well here. Asking clinics directly works better, and the clinics most likely to carry it are those that already stock more than two brands.
Being newest also means fewer practices have settled it into their default offering. That is a supply question rather than a quality one: Letybo is approved on the same basis as the rest, and our Letybo guide covers what its trials actually showed.
2. It needs a fridge, and that narrows things slightly
Unopened Letybo vials are stored refrigerated between 2 and 8 degrees Celsius, in the original carton to protect from light, and must not be frozen. There is no room-temperature option, unlike Xeomin and Daxxify.
That is an ordinary requirement, the same as Botox Cosmetic, and it is not a barrier for any established practice. It is one more reason a very small or occasional injector may not carry it.
3. What to expect on price and areas
Letybo is approved for glabellar frown lines only, so any other area is off-label use of a product with a short US track record. That combination is worth being deliberate about.
On price, newer entrants to this market typically position below the established brands to gain placement, and Hugel has no named patient rewards programme of the kind Allergan, Galderma, Merz and Evolus run. So compare on total treatment price rather than expecting a loyalty offset. 4. The checks that apply to any brand

5. What its own trials showed, and why that is useful
Letybo ran three identically designed phase III trials, and they are worth knowing about before you decide, because they demonstrate something the whole category obscures.
The composite responder rates across those three studies were 47%, 49% and 65%. Same drug, same protocol, same endpoint, an eighteen point spread.
That is not a mark against Letybo. It is the clearest available evidence that cross-brand percentage comparisons are unsound: if one product varies that much against itself under identical conditions, setting its number beside another brand's and concluding anything is not a real comparison. So when a clinic offers you Letybo with a percentage attached, the useful question is which trial it came from. And when one offers you a different brand on the grounds that its number is higher, the same question applies.
